MammaSmacks: I'm a mom to an upchucking monkey-child that has taken over my life in the best way possible. She's beautiful, fun, pudgy, and everything to me. She's as close as I've ever seen to perfect, and who wants perfection anyway. I'm frequently a pain-in-the-ass wife and a business partner to my husband, RB Trousers. RB is not his real name, but a silly nickname and stands for Razor Back, which is what RB reminds me of when a bit drunk. Together we run a small-scale, gourmet catering business. I'm a grateful temporarily retired teacher to the real world and feel like a woman split in two because I love education and miss my classroom life, work friends, and the stimulation that knowing it's Monday provides. I'm lucky to be staying at home, as torn as that makes me feel. I love writing and want to keep my mind sharp while staying at home, so I'm blogging a lot. It's a step to sanity while living in the middle of nowhere. I'm happy most of the time, and really just take stuff out on RB every now and then, but that's what he's there for right?
